CALLING ALL KNITTERS!
Do you love to knit or crochet? Join the Arlington Knitting Brigade!
You are invited to participate in RIPPLE, a public art project on Arlington’s Minuteman Bikeway this summer. Arlington artist Adria Arch will lead a team of knitters and crocheters to create RIPPLE – a vibrant knitted installation transforming trees along a section of the Bikeway. We hope to find twenty to fifty community-minded crafters to collaborate on this colorful outdoor project.
Knitting will take place over the summer with installation planned for September. RIPPLE is part of Pathways: Art Along the Minuteman Bikeway, a celebration of art, nature, community, and the 25th anniversary of the Bikeway!
If we’ve captured your imagination and you are ready to find out more about it and how to participate, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by June 23.
