RIPPLE - a yarnbomb installation on the Minuteman Bikeway
This summer, 57 Arlington-based knitters and crocheters participated in RIPPLE, a public art project created for Arlington’s Minuteman Bikeway. Arlington-based artist and activist Adria Arch led the team to create RIPPLE – a vibrant knitted installation transforming a group of trees adjacent to the Spy Pond ball field near Arlington Center. To visit the installation, start at Kickstand Cafe and walk east on the bikepath. You will find Ripple approximately 40 yards on the right.
RIPPLE is part of Pathways: Art Along the Minuteman Bikeway, a celebration of art, nature, community, and the 25th anniversary of the Bikeway!
